The dedicated clinical staff provide services such as immunization, sexually transmitted infection testing and treatment, TB screening, and chronic disease care.  The clinics serve those who fall into health insurance gaps for needed services. 


Offering services and programs to improve the health and well-being of families such as immunizations, nutritional support through the WIC Program, lactation consulting, home visitation through the HANDS Program, parent resources, and more.

With a central office in Elizabethtown, Lincoln Trail District Health Department operates and serves the residents and visitors of a six-county area including Hardin, LaRue, Marion, Meade, Nelson and Washington counties. A number of clinical services and programs are provided through those centers.

Food Scores

We regularly inspect all district food service establishments, including grocery stores, restaurants, etc. Inspections are typically done twice per year.


The Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) provides nutrition counseling, healthy foods, lactation consulting, and more.
